A Cobb County pastor has been arrested for allegedly molesting a six-year-old child at his church.

The AJC reports John Aubrey Pinkston, the pastor and founder of the ‘Congregation of God Seventh Day Church’ in Kennesaw, was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with single counts of child molestation and sexual battery. Police accuse Pinkston of inappropriately reaching underneath the child’s clothing within the last two months.

Pinkston, age 76, is also the voice of the “Watch America” radio and TV programs, the latter of which has aired in the Atlanta Metro area since 2007 according to its website. He is a resident of Paulding County.

Pinkston was released from jail Wednesday night after making bond.
