Tickets for Berry College’s inaugural football game have been on sale for a little less than a week now, and already their supply is dwindling.
Only 1,000 tickets remain for the public to purchase for Saturday’s historic game against the Maryville TN. Scots. With over 2,000 sold so far, Berry Spokeswoman Chris Kozelle says the excitement on and off campus is almost palpable.
“When we had our welcome ceremony for all of our freshman coming in, we had a surprise flash mob by the football team and that just went off so well and everybody was so excited about it. It got passed around on Facebook and Twitter,” Kozelle says. “We’re having a pep-rally on Friday and everybody is talking about trying to get to the bookstore so they can buy their Berry T-Shirts and make sure they’re sporting their spirit gear for Saturday. There’s a lot of excitement in the air.”
You can buy advanced tickets at the Krannert center on campus until Friday at noon.
Otherwise, they’ll be available at Barron Stadium before the 6pm kick-off on Saturday.
