Deadline to register to vote is Tuesday

The General Election is less than a month away and those wishing to register to vote have until the end of the day Tuesday to do so.

In addition to the highly contested presidential race, a number of regional races will be on the ballot for voters to decide including the U.S. House District 14 race, and several other local races including State House and Senate, school board, and sheriff.

Voters can fill out a registration form at their local county elections office, Georgia Drivers Services location or by downloading the form from the Secretary of State website at The form must be postmarked by Tuesday. Those wishing to register must have a valid ID, including a Georgia driver’s license or other state issued ID card.

Those wishing to change their address or name for the coming election must also fill out a registration form by the end of the day Tuesday. A list of voting precincts and further information can be found on the Georgia Secretary of State website at
