Spots Remain for Floyd Pre-K

The Floyd County School System still has space remaining in their Pre-K program for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year.

According to Assistant Superintendent Tim Hensley there are a total of five schools with room to add more Pre-K students; Alto Park Elementary, Glenwood Primary, Johnson Elementary, Midway Primary and McHenry Primary.

Those parents hoping to place their children in the Pre-K program may do so even if they did not apply during the original registration period in February.

Children are eligible to take part in the program as long as they meet the age requirement of being four-years-old by September 1st 2013. Parents may call Tina Black to register at 706-234-1031 or by email at
