An exceptionally lucky Alabama man has won a quarter-million dollar lottery prize from a ticket he purchased in Cave Spring.
The Georgia Lottery reports that Michael Millsap of Jacksonville, AL. claimed his $250,000 prize from their Atlanta office on Wednesday after matching five numbers on a Mega Millions ticket.
Millsap, who works at a Honda plant, says he plans to pay some bills off with his winnings---and help fund his Grandfather’s cancer treatments.
And, though people say lightening doesn’t strike the same place twice, Millsap’s coworkers’ have also been Mega Millions winners; A pool of twenty-five from the manufacturing plant outside of Birmingham won $250,000 from a Mega Million’s drawing in March 2012.
Millsap’s winning ticket was purchased in Cave Spring at the Chevron Food Mart on Gadsden Road.
