A Cartersville man was apprehended by the FBI Friday at a Summerville supermarket on child pornography charges.
Chattooga County Radio
reports Joshua Geer was picked up by federal agents Friday at the Ingles in Summerville where he was employed. Federal arrest warrants have charged the supermarket employee with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.
Geer was scheduled to appear in federal court in Rome on Friday.
Chattooga County Sherriff Mark Schrader says there is no link between this case and 23-year-old Pennville man who was arrested earlier this week on 170 counts of computer child pornography.
