If you’re going to make a profile on a dating website, it’s probably best if your current girlfriend doesn’t find out.

Bartow County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Efficiency Lodge on Highway 20 Monday in reference to a domestic dispute, and found a woman with fractured facial bones. When police arrived they found Daniel Todd Alexander, age 27, standing outside bleeding from his forehead. He allegedly told officers “I did it, go ahead and arrest me.”

The victim was found in the hotel bathroom covering her face with a towel from a fractured orbital socket and broken nose. She told police they had gotten in a fight over Alexander’s new account on a dating site, before the two exchanged blows with a mini-wooden-bat. Officers reported finding a large amount of blood throughout the room.

Alexander was jailed and has been charged with one count of felony Aggravated Battery.
