It’s been a long six-months, but Rome Braves Baseball has finally returned to State Mutual Stadium.
Starting their 11th season off with a strong win away on Thursday, the Rome Braves will host their home opener Saturday against the Savannah Sand Gnats. You can expect fireworks, food and fun says General Manager Mike Dunn.
“Certainly, the home-opener is a special time to unveil the team to the hometown fans,” says Dunn. “And, we look forward to it being on a Saturday, and seeing some post-game fireworks---it’ll be a fun time out at the stadium.”
The pre-game festivities will begin at 6pm, with Past Atlanta Braves Manager Grady Little throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at 7pm. All fans in-attendance will receive a magnetic schedule courtesy of Blood Assurance.
