Another suspect has been arrested in-connection to human remains found in a Kingston field a month ago.
According to the Bartow County Sherriff’s Office, 33-year-old Phillip Jared Martin of Kingston was apprehended Monday morning and charged with Abandonment of a Dead Body and Concealing the Death of another Person. Police say Martin helped 30-year-old Jason Daniel Poston, who was arrested on June 7th, dispose of Michael McIntyre’s corpse. McIntyre, who was from Cartersville, was reported missing by his family on May 30th.
Though the two suspects are being charged in hiding McIntyre’s body, authorities are not treating his death as a homicide investigation.
