A Calhoun man was arrested last week following a reported child molestation incident involving a minor child.
According to Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston, deputies arrested 39-year-old Jason Kirby on July 4th at his Cedar Hill Drive residence on charges of felony child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
According to investigators, the events are believed to have taken place at a private residence near Calhoun in 2009 and 2010. The child was reportedly only 12 years old when the alleged acts took place.
Kirby was arrested last Thursday and later released on a $50,000 property bond.
