Rome Man Arrested on Long List of Charges

Floyd County Jail Reports 

A Rome man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Saturday on a long list of charges.

According to jail reports, 30-year-old Renalto Pierre Raper of a Lyn Avenue address was found in possession of marijuana and a loaded .32 caliber firearm after a traffic stop.

He is charged with speeding, DUI drugs, four counts of endangering child while DUI, obstruction, suspended license, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, four counts of child restraint violation, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Two Rome Residents Charged with Battery

Two Rome residents were arrested Sunday on battery charges.

According to Floyd County Jail Reports, 53-year-old Debbie Hatcher allegedly threw a knife at 54-year-old Edward Evan Ferguson striking him in the face.

Ferguson also allegedly struck Mrs. Hatcher in the face.

Both are charged with a misdemeanor count of battery.
