Rome Man Arrested on Long List of Charges

A Rome man was booked into the Floyd County Jail on a long list of charges Friday.

According to jail reports, 46-year-old Timothy James Thomas of a Dellvue Place residence allegedly gave officers a false name and date of birth after a traffic stop.

Thomas is also charged with driving on a suspended license, driving without license on person, expired sticker registration, false statements and writings, fraudulent plates, habitual violation, and aggravated stalking.

Man Arrested For Enticing a Child For Indecent Purposes

A 44-year-old man was arrested Friday for enticing a child for indecent purposes.

According to Floyd County Jail Reports, Charles Elrod Kennedy allegedly solicited a child under the age of 16, by offering her $20 to perform an indecent act with him.
