Christmas parade tonight

Downtown Rome will be filled with the sights and sounds of the holiday season tonight as the 2018 Rome Christmas Parade makes its way up Broad Street.

The parade features around 100 entries and 3,000 participants, including high school marching bands, the Shorter University band, businesses, churches, local civic organizations, and of course Santa Claus.  

William S. Davies is the Grand Marshal and the theme for the parade if “A King is Born."

Tonight’s parade begins at 6:30 p.m.
