5- year-old twins missing from Everett Springs Road have been found

April 11, 2019---2:45 P.M.


Floyd County Police were searching for two 5-year-old boys that were reported missing from their home on Thursday afternoon.

The boys, named Nathan and Noah, had been missing for an hour when Floyd County 911 received the call.

The Floyd County Sheriffs Office, Floyd County Police Department, Floyd County Fire Department, Georgia State Patrol Avaiation department, and Floyd County public works all assisted in the search.

Authorities used k-9 units, drone surveliance, and established a perimeter to locate the lost boys.

3:00 P.M. Sgt. Chris Fincher has realease the description of the boys.

One wearing gray pants gray shirt

Other blue pants orange shirt

400 block of Everett Springs Road

3:10 P.M: According to Police Scanner traffic, the boys have been found and are safe.

3:20 P.M: According to Police Scanner traffic, the boys are still lost. The Department of Natural Resources made contact with two young boys, not the lost twins

3:24 P.M: The twins have been found and are safe. This is confirmed by Floyd County Sheriffs Office scanner traffic. All search units have been cancelled.
