Drug Task Force & Local Officials Make Multiple Drug Arrests

Commander Dwayne Brown of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force says that his agency along with the Trion Police Department, The Summerville Police Department, The Chattooga County Sheriff's Department and The Walker County Sheriff's Department conducted a narcotics investigation. As a result of the investigation ten people were arrested.
Those arrested in Chattooga County included:
Seventeen-year-old Harley Wilson of Trion for possession of methamphetamine
Twenty-year-old Patrick Howard of Trion for possession of methamphetamine
Nineteen-year-old Dylan Atkins of Trion for possession of methamphetamine
Twenty-six-year-old Walter Whitton of Trion for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule II Drug, obstruction and possession of marijuana less than one ounce
Thirty-three-year-old Dustin Dewayne Hines of Summerville for possession of methamphetamine
Twenty-three-year-old Joshua Clark of Trion for distribution of marijuana and possession of marijuana over one ounce
Twenty-eight-year-old Patrick Shaver of Trion for possession of methamphetamine and abandonment of a controlled substance
Forty-eight-year-old Kevin Thomas for possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear
Commander Brown said, “(The drug task force) will continue to partner with agencies to proactively and aggressively investigate narcotics in the judicial circuit.”
