Taxi cab driver shot Satruday

Rome Police continue to investigate the shooting of a taxi driver over the weekend.
According to police reports, the 50-year old driver told officers that he was dispatched to the intersection of Camp and Copeland Streets at around 3 a.m. Saturday to pick up a cab fare.
3 or 4 black males came to the cab and one of the men attempted to rob the driver, who was then shot in the leg.
Police recovered a black mask from inside the vehicle as well as a bullet fragment.
The cab driver said the men were skinny with short hair but was not able to provide any further description.
