Large turnout for Floyd County Animal Control Pet Adoption Day

Jason Broome of Floyd County Animal Control said he was pleased with the turnout at Saturday's Pet Adoption Day, but wished that every weekend was more like this one.

A steady crowd of people were at the Mathis Rd. facility Saturday as a number of dogs and cats were available for adoption for a reduced price.
