Inmates charged with having drugs in jail

Two inmates at the Floyd County jail are facing charges for allegedly having drugs in the jail.
According to Floyd County Jail reports, 44-year-old James Eric Mackey is accused of having methamphetamine in the C-Block day room on February 9. He is charged with crossing the guard line with drugs and drug possession. He has been in jail since January 26 on a probation violation charge.
In a separate incident, 41-year-old Michael Wayne Huskins is accused of having methamphetamine in the C-Block day room on February 4.
He is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine within the guard line, trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
