Storm damage reported in Cherokee County, Alabama
May 24, 2017--11:31 a.m.
Heavy rain combined with high winds toppled trees across Cherokee County just after 8:30 Alabama time Wednesday leading mergency crews to venture out to clear roadways.
Reports of minor flooding across some roadways were also coming in around the same time and there was also a report of storm damage in Sand Rock – where the roof of a home was apparently blown off.
Fortunately, it appears no one was hurt in the incident.
