Man charged with possession of methamphetamine

A 30-year old Rome man was arrested at Armuchee Park on Jones Mill Road Monday on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Justin Caleb Hufstetler of a Burr Drive address had a small baggy containing a white substance that he admitted being methamphetamine.

Hufstetler was booked on a felony meth possession charge.

 

 

Three arrested for drug trafficking in Alabama

Three people were arrested on major drug charges Monday afternoon in Cherokee County, Alabama.

43-year old John Eric Mills of Jacksonville, 38-year old Daniel Justin Knighton of Anniston, and 45-year old Calvin John Cole of Collinsville were jailed on charges of drug trafficking and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were booked in between 3:00 and 4:00 pm.

All three remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $75,500 each.
