Rome High Football honored by Legislature

The Rome High Wolves, who won their second consecutive 5A State Football Championship were at the Georgia State Capitol on Thursday.
Both the House and Senate read resolutions congratulating the team for their accomplishments, including finishing the last season 15-0 and winning 27 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Rome also scored 758 points in 2017 to become the highest scoring team in the history of high school football in Georgia.
Coach John Reid was also named 5A Coach of the Year and Adam Anderson was named Player of the Year for all classifications.
