"Heartbeat Bill" poised to become law

The highly debated and controversial "Heartbeat Bill" is being sent to Governor Brian Kemp.
House Bill 481 was offically passed by the State House Friday afternoon. The bill had the same support with local represenatives, you can see where they voted here.
Governor Kemp has promised to sign the Bill intolaw once it reaches his desk, Georgia would become the third state to pass such a strict abortion law.
This bill outlaws abortion after a doctor can detect a fetus has a heartbeat, which typically occurs around 6 weeks into the pregnancy. However, this bill does allow for special cases to be exempt from the deadline, particularly in rape or sexual assault cases.
