Isolated Thunderstorm chance tonight and through the weekend

The National Weather Service has released a hazardous weather outlook for North Georgia.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central
Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Isolated thunderstorms possible tonight.

A storm system developing over the lower Mississippi Valley will
move into Georgia tonight bringing widespread showers and a few
thunderstorms. Severe storms are not anticipated through tonight.

The primary hazard from any thunderstorms will be occasional
lightning and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

An unsettled weather pattern will continue into early next week as a
series of upper level disturbances move across the region. There is
a chance of thunderstorms each day through Tuesday, a few of these
storms could be strong, mainly during the afternoon and evening
hours. The primary hazard from any thunderstorms will be occasional
lightning and gusty winds.
