Three facing charges of robbery by force
November 3, 2017--9:10 a.m.
On Sunday, October 22, 2017, at approximately 7 pm two black females and one black male entered Belk in Cartersville, GA.
All three suspects headed towards the Brahmin purses valued at approximately $300 each. Belk employees observed the suspects cutting the anti-theft cords in attempts to steal the purses.
A Belk employee confronted one of the female suspects to try and prevent her from shoplifting. At that point, the male suspect shoved the Belk employee to the ground, and all three suspects fled from the store in a silver Dodge Magnum.
In correlation with the help of Belk loss prevention, eyewitness testimony, and various investigative leads the suspects were identified as Letisha Green, Lateefah Johnson, and Rodney Reese.
Warrants were issued for all three individuals for Robbery by Force, and Felony Shoplifting.
Thanks to the help of the Chattanooga Police Department two suspects, Rodney Reese and Letisha Green, were taken into custody on November 1, 2017.
Lateefah Johnson is still at large.
