Two arrested following pursuit Sunday morning

Additional details have been released concerning a Sunday morning chase involving DNR law enforcement and Georgia State Troopers.
According to reports, at around 8:30 a.m., Department of Natural Resources Rangers attempted to stop individuals for hunting violations in Bartow County.
The Rangers advised dispatch that the occupants of a Ford Escape were armed with a rifle and that the Ford had rammed one of their vehicles.
A Georgia State Patrol trooper responded and performed the PIT Maneuver on Wayside Road South of Barnsley Garden Road, ending the pursuit.
The driver of the Ford, 56-year old Charles Autry of Calhoun and a passenger 51-year-old Pamela Daniel of Adairsville were transported to Cartersville Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Autry was intoxicated and was wanted on drug charges.
Both Autry and Daniel are charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Autry was additionally charged with aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, hit and run and numerous other traffic violations.
