Cartersville Police arrest alleged 'Peeping Tom'

CARTERSVILLE POLICE REPORT
Cartersville Police arrest a man for allegedly looking into a woman’s window at an apartment complex on Massell Drive.
According to the incident report, the woman told officers that 58-year old Herold Jean-Baptiste was spying on her and yelling at occupants inside the apartment.
A neighbor backed up the victim’s story and showed officers a picture she had taken of the suspect peering into the window.
When asked if he understood his Miranda Rights, Jean-Baptiste said “No” and then said he was a “chief” and the officer needed to release him.
Jean-Baptiste was charged with being a Peeping Tom, criminal trespass and public drunk.
