Calhoun Police investigate ATM break-in

Calhoun Police are investigating an incident Sunday morning in which an ATM at North Georgia National Bank on Red Bud Road was damaged to the tune of $10,000.

According to Calhoun Police reports, officers arrived at around 4:25 a.m. and saw a white van (pictured) in the parking lot.

The headlights came on and the van sped off, almost striking a patrol vehicle.

The van was last seen on I-75.

Reports state that other ATM incidents were reported in Ringgold, Whitfield County, and Hamilton County, Tennessee involving a van matching the same description.

It appears as though no money was taken in the Calhoun incident.
