BOLO Issued for Two Escapees from Putnam County

The search continues for two inmates who shot and killed two correctional officers Putnam County Tuesday.

Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills confirmed that the officers died Tuesday morning.

Inmates accused of killing them are armed and on the run. They escaped in a green Honda Civic with Georgia tag RBJ6601.

“They’re armed. They’re dangerous. Call 911, don’t approach them," Sills said

The bus was carrying 33 prisoners going to various locations from the Baldwin County Jail.

Authorities said the two men are armed with the officers' .40 caliber Glock pistols.

24-year-old Ricky Dubose is described as a white male, 6’1, 140 pounds. He is from Madison County, Ga. 43-year-old Donnie Russell Rowe is described as a white male, 6’1, 181 pounds. He is from middle Tennessee.

The slain Baldwin State Prison Correctional officers were identified as 42-year-old Christopher Monica and 58-year-old Curtis Billue.
