Storms possible Monday

A line of thunderstorms is expected to impact north and central Georgia today ahead of a cold front approaching from the west.
A slight risk for severe weather exists in west-central Georgia, with a marginal risk elsewhere across most of north and central Georgia.
Large hail will be the primary threat with severe storms that occur, although strong/damaging wind gusts are also possible.
As the line of thunderstorms moves southeastward into the area, it’s expected to enter the following areas at:
Northwest Georgia: Mid-morning, between 9 – 11 AM (Initial storms in northwest Georgia are currently anticipated to be sub-severe.)
