A three-year-old died in an ATV accident Monday in Acworth.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the Polaris Ranger 700XP was traveling south on Old Tennessee Hwy.
The 14-year old driver failed to maintain his lane and the ATV traveled off the west shoulder of the roadway and the driver over-corrected.
The four-wheeler overturned on the roadway, then traveled off the east shoulder before coming to a final rest in a ditch.
The passenger, 3-year old Rhys Howard was fatally injured during the crash.
