Rome residents will gather tonight to honor Congressman John Lewis.
A candlelight vigil will be held at the Town Green from 7:30 until 9 p.m.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Joshua Murfree.
Lewis, an icon in the struggle for civil rights, passed away on July 17 at the age of 80.
