Tropical Storm Zeta blew into the Rome and Floyd County before sunup Thursday morning, leaving thousands without power and multiple trees down.
In West Rome, police and citizens teamed up to remove a tree that had fallen across Coosawatee Avenue.
Just a street over, on Ridge Drive, another tree fell across the roadway but no property damage was reported.
In Summerville Park on Charlton Street, a large tree was down and on South Avenue at Division a tree fell across the road, and.
Again, no damage was reported.
