The Floyd County Board of Elections has shot down a challenge that called into question the residency of 161 Floyd County voters.
According to a story in the Rome News-Tribune, the board, during a specially-called meeting Wednesday, found the challenge did not meet the burden of proof and requirements to move forward.
The challenge was filed by True the Vote, a Texas-based conservative group, which has also filed similar challenges in all 158 other Georgia Counties.
