FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

Charges have been filed in connection with a serious wreck that occurred back on January 24 on Highway 101 at Shiflett Road.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 19-year old Alyssa Jordan Jackson of Rockmart was driving under the influence when she caused the accident that resulted in a 16-year old passenger being ejected and seriously injured, having to be placed on life support.

Two adults in the vehicle were also seriously injured.

Jackson is charged with a felony count of serious injury by vehicle and misdemeanor counts of DUI, failure to maintain a lane, a seatbelt violation, and intoxicating a minor to the point of endangering themselves or others.
