On October 29, 2021, at 22:49, the Uniformed Patrol Division executed a search warrant at 8 Grove Street (Aragon, Georgia).
Patrol Officers had been conducting an in-depth criminal investigation into drug activity at the residence after several calls at the residence pertaining to the use of illegal drugs.
Patrol Officers had also conducted a traffic stop on October 27, 2021, in which a female was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine. As a result of that investigation, it was determined that the narcotics were purchased at 8 Grove Street.
After conducting the search warrant on the residence, several illegal items were located. Our officers discovered cut straws with powder residue, several glass pipes with residue, multiple loaded syringes, and several suspected bags of Methamphetamine and Heroin. A Firearm was also seized from the residence.
Polk County Animal Control was also contacted due to several dogs being in the residence living in unsanitary and poorly ventilated conditions.
As a result of the investigation, $8,781.00 was seized from the residence. Two subjects were charged in reference to this case.
70-year-old Silas Locklear of Aragon was charged with possession of heroin, possession of meth, possession of a firearm or knife during a felony, possession of drug-related objects, and obstruction of law enforcement officers.
36-year-old Ginger Locklear of Aragon was charged with possession of meth, possession of drug-related objects, and felony probation violation.
