FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A Cedartown man is accused of pointing a firearm at a woman and two children at a residence on Reeceburg Road.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 31=year old Larry Wayne Smith III threatened to kill the victims if they told police.
This occurred on multiple occasions between March 1 and March 4.
One of the children told police that Smith would lock them in their rooms with a padlock.
He also took a phone from one of the victims to keep them from calling 911.
The victims sustained several injuries from Smith hitting them.
During a search, Smith was also found with methamphetamine and two glass smoking devices.
Smith is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, battery, simple battery, 1st and 3rd-degree cruelty to children, obstructing a person from making a 911 call, possession of meth, and possession of drug-related objects.
