Paulding Detectives continue to investigate a triple shooting that occurred during the overnight hours of March 21, 2022, in western Paulding County.
As a result of the shooting, all three victims are now deceased. At approximately 10:49 PM on March 21, 2022, Paulding E-911 was contacted by one of the residents of 251 Chesapeake Way Rockmart, GA 30153 (Sunset Mountain Subdivision) indicating that there was a triple shooting that had just occurred. The complainant advised that two individuals came to the home and met with the three male victims.
As a result of their investigation, Detectives have determined that it appears as if the two men came to the Chesapeake Way home in order to rob the three victims. Initially, two of the victims succumbed to their injuries on the scene and the third victim was in critical condition. Over the course of the weekend, the third victim passed away as a result of his injuries.
The victims in this triple murder are listed below:
- Clinton Matthew Aiola (W/M, 42 YOA) of Rockmart, GA (Paulding County)
- Cody Daniel Fuller (W/M, 30 YOA) of Dallas, GA (Paulding County)
- Davauntee Anthony Ramsay (B/M, 30 YOA) of Rockmart, GA (Paulding County).
Thus far, Deputies with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and Deputy United States Marshals with the US Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFT) have arrested one of the suspects in this case.
On March 24, 2022, Paulding Deputies and Deputy US Marshals arrested Carlos Favors-Battle (B/M, 26 YOA) in Douglasville, GA (Douglas County) where he resides.
Detectives charged Favors-Battle with the below-listed offenses. He is currently being held in the Paulding County Jail without bond.

-Malice Murder (F) – 3 Counts
-Murder During the Commission of a Felony (F) – 3 Counts
-Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime (F)
-Aggravated Assault With Intent to Rob/Murder (F) – 3 Counts
-Probation Violation Warrant

Deputies and US Deputy Marshals are still looking for another suspect in this case.
