The Rome City School Board is expected to adopt a resolution declaring the results of the May 24 ESPLOST election when they meet Tuesday.

The continuation of the extra penny tax was overwhelmingly approved by voters.

The school board will also consider the approval of architectural agreements for additions to East Central Elementary School, and West End Elementary School, as well as for the new Rome Middle School.

A public hearing and approval of the of FY 23 proposed budget are also on the agenda for the meeting, which begins at 5:45 p.m. in Room A201 at the Rome City Schools College and Career Academy, located on Veterans Memorial Highway.

The caucus will be held at 4:00 p.m. in Room A211.
