The Rome Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect from an armed robbery that occurred on August 3, 2023, at the Dollar General store on North Broad Street in Rome.

On 08/03/2023 at or around 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to the Dollar General at 1605 North Broad Street NE, Rome GA, in reference to an armed robbery.

The female subject, approximately 5’7” tall with long black hair showed a firearm while demanding money from the register.

The suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt with white stripes on the arms, black sweatpants, black shoes with white soles, and a green and black cap.

The firearm used appears to be a 9mm handgun with a silver barrel/chamber.
