One man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck involving a pickup truck and an all-terrain vehicle on Highway 411 in Bartow County Friday.

According to the Georgia State Patrol:

A Bartow County School Police F-150 was traveling west on Highway 411 in the right lane.

An ATV was facing north on the right shoulder of the highway was backing south attempting to pull a separate ATV out of the ditch, using the winch on the front of the ATV.

The driver of the ATV backed into the westbound lanes of Highway 411, entering the F-150’s path.

The driver of the ATV was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the vehicle.

He died at the scene.
