Homes in North Rome, East Rome struck by gunfire on Halloween

-Rome Police Department reports-

Rome Police responded to a couple of “shots fired” calls on Halloween.

According to the incident reports:

Someone shot into a residence on Gordon Avenue in North Rome.

Several bullets went through a front window, striking a television.

Another bullet was found stuck in the curtain next to the window and several shell casings were found in the street.

Meanwhile, a home on Flannery Street in East Rome was also struck several times by bullets.

The occupants of the home said they heard nine rapid shots that possibly came from a vehicle.

In addition to several bullet holes in the exterior of the home, a bullet was located in a bedroom, and a vehicle in the driveway was also struck.

Five spent shell casings were found in the street.
