This weekend you can shop a large variety of local art during the 12th annual Georgia’s Rome Winter Art Market.
“We have over 60 vendors,” said Kenzie Rowell with the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism. “It’s going to be indoors and outdoors, so we are hoping for a great weekend, and we are hoping it doesn’t rain.”
According to Rowell, there is a little something for everybody.
“We have a lot of jewelry making,” she said. We have a lot of pottery and folk art. It’s just a variety of local artists. We always try to have a variety of different artists to offer items for everyone.”
Food vendors will also be on-site offering lunches, jellies and jams, coffee, baked goods, and more.
The hours for the art market are from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday at the Rome Civic Center.
