Teen accused of assaulting others with a vehicle
An 18-year-old is accused of striking other people with his vehicle during an altercation on Rising Fawn Trail that occurred back on October 29.
According to the arrest warrant:
Joshua James Mikhail Little placed the lives of several people, including innocent children, in danger, even running over a juvenile’s foot.
He is charged with aggravated assault, 2nd-degree criminal damage to property, 2nd-cruelty to children, and reckless conduct.
Two other people have been arrested in connection with the same incident for allegedly shooting at a vehicle.
Little was listed as the victim in those reports.
Warrant: Man assaulted elderly woman
A Cave Spring man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with aggravated assault.
According to the warrant:
34-year-old Seth Bradley Case put his hands around a 71-year-old woman’s throat, strangled her, and threatened to kill her.
The incident occurred at a home on Padlock Mountain Road on January 10, 2022, and was witnessed by a child.
Case also broke a child’s computer and a home phone.
He also stole a laptop and an iPhone.
Case is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, exploitation or intimidation of the elderly, criminal trespass, 3rd-degree cruelty to children, and felony theft by taking.
Bartow County man arrested for conversion of payments for property improvements
A Cartersville man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Monday on a felony count of conversion of payments for real property improvements.
According to the arrest warrant:
56-year-old Lee Anthony Kaufman, while a contractor, received a payment of $43,633 in March to do work on Ward Mountain Road.
In August, he returned $25,000 but failed to return the rest of the funds.
Woman accused of delivering tobacco to inmate work detail
A 49-year-old Watkinsville woman is accused of delivering tobacco to an inmate at the Floyd County Prison.
According to the arrest warrant:
Rachelle Lee Young took three one-pound bags of pipe tobacco and four cans of smokeless tobacco to a location on Cedartown Highway for her son to retrieve while on an outside work detail.
Young is charged with possession of items prohibited for inmates.
