Additional information has been released regarding a two-vehicle wreck on Martha Berry Highway Tuesday that shut down the roadway between the north entrance of Berry College and the mall for nearly an hour.

According to a Rome Police Department report:

A Sunrise tow truck driven by 34-year-old Bradley Grace of Lindale was in the process of making a U-turn to pick up a broken-down vehicle near Three Mile Road when it was struck on the right passenger side by a 2016 Honda Civic driven by 49-year-old Felicia Satterfield of Rome.

Satterfield has to be extricated from her vehicle.

She was then airlifted to Kennestone Hospital where she is listed in stable condition, awaiting surgery.

Grace was transported by ambulance to Atrium Health Floyd with minor injuries.

The Rome Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team is working to determine the specifics and will announce any citations or charges once the investigation is complete.
