An arrest has been made in the shooting of a man at the Ashland Park Apartments back on January 25.

According to the arrest warrant:

21-year-old Tynerious Dequan Devon Chambers shot Gregory Ladell Jackson Jr. twice with a 9mm.

Jackson sustained gunshots to the facial area and the back of the head.

He was transported to Atrium Health Floyd for emergency medical treatment.

Chambers is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and a probation violation.
