Woman accused of hitting boyfriend, found with meth inside body cavity
A 41-year-old Rome woman is facing multiple charges following her arrest in the area of Riverside Park on Chatillon Road Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Brandi Zelinka Dobbs hit her boyfriend between the eyes, causing his head to bleed.
The incident occurred in front of a minor.
Once at the jail, Dobbs was found with over 77 grams of suspected crystal meth, which was located inside a body cavity.
She is charged with simple battery, 2nd-degree cruelty to children, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drugs across the guard line at the jail, and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
Woman accused of harassing boyfriend
A Rome woman was jailed Tuesday on a felony aggravated stalking charge.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
54-year-old Montona Keunn Fisher harassed her boyfriend by locking him out of his Ash Street home and turning off the cameras.
Traffic stop leads to felony charges
A man who was pulled over by police at Kingston Highway and the connector for holding his cell phone while driving is also facing felony charges.
According to Floyd County jail records:
49-year-old Michael Lydell Johnson had multiple containers of suspected marijuana, digital scales, and a firearm.
He is charged with possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug-related objects and distracted driving.
