This weekend, Ridge Ferry Park plays host to the Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation’s Backyard BBQ Bash.

There will be barbecue sampling, people’s choice voting, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, a car show, and more. 

Parking for the event is five dollars per car and card only. 

Sampling bracelets for the barbecue are five dollars and are limited to one per person.

The gates open at 10 a.m.

Sampling begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until 2:30 p.m., or until the sampling bracelets or barbecue is almost gone.

To ensure you get to taste some great barbecue, make sure you arrive by 10 a.m. to buy your bracelet and taste some meat before it’s all gone.
