-Cartersville Police News Release-

Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting on Tuesday in the area of Lee Street in Cartersville.

According to a news release:

Cartersville Police Officers, along with Agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, took Ronald Michelle Osburn and MaKayla Ann Tanner into custody.

Osburn is charged with aggravated assault and Tanner is charged with hindering the apprehension of a criminal.

Officers responded to the report of gunshots in the area of Lee and Walker Streets at around 9:48 p.m. Tuesday.

They found spent shell casings from different caliber firearms but did not locate anyone who had been shot.

Shortly thereafter, the gunshot victim arrived via private transportation at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.
