Another “Most Wanted” suspect caught

Another of Floyd County’s “Most Wanted” was arrested over the weekend.

40-year old Carland Eugene Johnson of Silver Creek was wanted on charges of aggravated assault and obstruction of officers.

According to the arrest warrant:

Johnson put his hands around a woman’s throat in an attempt to choke her and then tried to smother her by putting a pillow over her face.

The incident occurred on April 27 at Johnson’s Pleasant Valley Road home.

He is also accused of running from police on May 10.

With the arrest of Johnson, another name has been added to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office’s “Most Wanted” list.

27-year-old Tyler Austin Nichols is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, battery, and reckless conduct.
