Resaca teen accused of stealing GMC Sierra

A Gordon County teen is facing a felony theft charge in Floyd County.

According to an arrest warrant:

18-year-old Dalton Kal-El Scuderi of Resaca refused to return a 1996 GMC Sierra to a home on Sally Davis Road in Armuchee after being told by the owner to do so.

The incident occurred on May 17 and the vehicle is valued at $2,500.

Man charged with trafficking fentanyl

A 59-year-old Rome man is facing a fentanyl trafficking charge following his arrest Tuesday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Alzie Ladell Tolbert was found with a small package containing approximately 62 grams of fentanyl at a location on Cedartown Highway on May 17.

He is also charged with possession, and possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled substance.

Warrant: Man stole seven bulldog puppies

A man from Snellville was booked into the Floyd County Jail Tuesday on a misdemeanor warrant for theft by taking.

According to the warrant:

22-year old Bruce Maurice Ferguson stole seven American Bulldog puppies from a Rockmart woman.

The incident occurred on May 2 at a location on Chatillon Road in Rome.
